Why is it so difficult to remove & install the plastic H3 Radiator Cap?

Default Why is it so difficult to remove & install the plastic H3 Radiator Cap?
I had to use an oil filter remover to take off my H3 plastic Radiator Cap.
Do you also have difficulties removing yours?

When they start to go bad they can deform..... warp, or get out of round. The have a life expectancy. Replace it.
