I was changing the oil on my 2010 I-5 this weekend and found a surprise when I dropped the steel skid plate. There was a bolt head sitting on the passenger's side. Any ideas where the threaded portion is?
It is an M8 grade 10.9 with a flange. You can tell from the pics it looks like it was not on a flat surface. The exposed portion has a somewhat grimey feel, so it was probably exposed to oil debris.
Sorry, I couldn't get very clear pictures of it.

Update: I took off the exhaust manifold heat shield and saw the front-most manifold bolt head missing. That was my suspicion, now confirmed. Mystery solved.
