VVT system oil screen

Does the I-5 have a separate oil screen for the VVT system? Toyota's engine

has one

A YouTuber was talking about VVT solenoids and made a general statement that VVTs have an oil screen elsewhere in the block. Is that universal or just 'common'?

What does YouTube say about KIA engines, VWs, Hyundai, Hondas.............? Point. It Don't Matter because the H3 has a GM engine.

The Atlas I4 and I5 versions were produced at the Tonawanda Engine plant in, New York, near Buffalo. Tonawanda Engine is a General Motors engine factory in Buffalo, New York.

I know, Doc, notice I said "made a general statement". The video I saw was not about a particular brand's engine, and this was in addition to the screen on the VVT solenoid.

How many filter screens does a vvt need? Toyauto has a separate port for the screen since it's not part of the vvt:
