Default Turn Signal Chime

The audible signal when I use my blinker's no longer makes any sound. 2008 H3 Base. Any idea's? I know some folks are o.k. with no sound, but I'd rather have it functioning.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The clicking tone is generated by the driver door speaker. Blown speaker or possibly an aftermarket head unit that is missing the proper interface?

The speakers have been replaced twice since I've owned the H3 (2010 when I got it), newest set I put in Spring of 2021. The head unit is still the factory unit. All other chimes work (seatbelt warning, lights on when door opens and engine off, etc). I'm beginning to think it may be related to the signal lever. My cruise control does not function either, but that went out prior to the turn signal chime. Possible it's dirty connections in the lever?

recently encountered this problem. the speaker is on the panel behind the odometer. I soldered the speaker from the computer to 12v. Works great.

I do remember seeing here (or somewhere) awhile back that the turn signal tone comes from the gauge cluster. Mine has never worked since I bought the truck about 8 years ago. Can you clarify that the speaker is separate from the gauge cluster and where it is mounted?

I wish mine would stop making noise, I keep the music loud and/or don't use the turn signals, so I don't have to hear that annoying sound!
Btw, It's mounted on the back of the IPC board. Easy to find when disassembled, there's a black connector, 4 white stepper motors, & a black drain looking capsule that produces the hideous sound.
