My question is what would a tube arm do and what’s the benefit? Your going to max the CV way before you do the ball joint.

I could see if they made a long travel kit that lengthened both arms 2-3 inches, then used a mono ball instead of the ball joint, and then allowed for a longer axle that could also take more degrees of angle. Probably would have to cut and relocate the upper shock mount to use the extra up travel gains, as the stock shock is pretty small. But if you’re going to all this trouble I’d ditch the torsions and do a coilover shock and simplify the whole suspension.

They tried to make them, I knew somebody that was hot to trot to get a set........... took for ever and from what I heard, did not pan out as planned. The excitement wore off after parting with the cabbage. This is all from one unconfirmed source. Maybe others liked what they ended up with???? I have a feeling the numbers they sold for $700 were not many.

With the upper, the idea was you get a serviceable upper Ball Joint and possibly additional strength. IMHO that is a LONG way to go for that minimal added benefit, and you have to replace the OEM control arm anyway to get it. Might as well just replaced it with another OEM and called it done. Do I know of people wearing out H3 upper ball joints? Yes Not aware of a problem relating to Upper A Arm damage/failure. I am still on original upper ball joints/Control Arms in my 09 Alpha Off Road.

The other part of it was you could potentially cobble together a lift with a custom cross member from another aftermarket GM truck kit and use their MMW adjustable Upper Control Arms to dial it in/force it to "work."

So, lol this a brother of a friends gf's buddy story. ha!
I want an actual story damit... Joke!!
Really I don't see a need for the fancy pants uppers. They would be pretty much a waste on me. The oem style are actually pretty decent.
