Could be, but how could you f'k up the ignition switch when you removed the fuse block? Ignition Switch harness is open or shorted. Ignition Switch circuit poor electrical connection. Check voltage at fuse #33.

Yes, if you broke a pin. Inspect and make sure they are all there. '09-'10 3.7l 25783694

Well I found the pink wire from the tcm to the fuse box where it goes over the front of the engine was burnt and only had like 1 strand left hanging on. I cut out the bad part soldered in a new piece. Connected everything back up. Now the dash won’t do anything and key is stuck in ign. I’m gonna keep checking around for more burnt wires. Does a new tcm need to be reprogrammed?

If brand new, they should need to be programmed for your vehicle as they are shared with other models. If you find a used one from a 2009-2010 H3 it may work without programming because it should already have the OEM schedules on it. Not sure if a 2008 TCM would work, but it might also.

You have burnt wires since fuse box removal? Now you want to throw a tcm at it when you don't have voltage at the ignition switch?

Hilarious. I was hoping I could get help from this site. the fuse box wasn't the problem at all. this trash harness gm uses is the problem. so if a wire is breaking it will heat up and cause problems in electrical modules. I was wasting my time with the fusebox and those connectors. the reason I asked was if the tcm is bad it will cause the gauges to not work and lock up the shifter. am i wrong?

I NEVER had to repair a wire on my '07! You posted "..all started with thermostat replacement"...I can't see anything from here? I posted your codes are coming from ignition switch failure. Take it from there, get help, or send it to me!

***FIXED***
so I found two wires in the harness that go across the engine that had come apart in the insulation. And one that had rubbed through exposing the wire. I pulled all the loom and tape to check each wire. So far everything is taped and loomed back up with no issues. It was the pink 12v and a white that went to the tcm. No idea what the other pink went to that had been rubbed through.
