That's another way to do it? However, with 16quarts fresh dexVI and 15 minutes, running through a fluid exchange machine, the fluid is new again! Draining only portion of the fluid, mixes remaining old fluid again with the new fluid. Check out a transmission fluid exchange machine, you will be impressed at how effective it is. Many years of performing this service and there were times that took more than 16qts to clean the fluid, yet always positive results when completed.
