Hummer H3For the Hummer driver who wants the rugged look and off road capabilities of the Hummer, but in a smaller size and with a more fuel economy friendly engine.
Hey guys, i dont know much about H3s but i saw this H3 for sale with some damage with 101,000 miles. Salvage title, 2007.
Its being sold as is and i know nothing about it. I was thinking about buying it for about $5,000. I dont know anything about the H3s, are there common problems on these, or are the 3.7s pretty reliable? Im assuming i would just need to change all of the basic maintenance things like oils/ check brake pads, etc etc...
you will probably have to put in another 2500 or more on the damages you can look through some online retailers for a running driving one for about the same as what you would have invested on a salvage titled truck. here is an example of some pricings
it also looks like the rear suspension got bent in the collision. besides the other visible damages. but if you get it for 3k ish and you know what to do then it might be a fun project but you really need to go look at what it needs in person.

That's the point of salvage aka totaled. Definitely frame/suspenstion/axle damaged.
You can bear bond the body back together like they do in nascar, however you can't drive it for long with frame/suspension/axle damage.
well, did the seller specify the damages? if its just plastic broken, go for it, if the frame got busted- forget about it! if its axle , you can try play with it.. also , would be handy to see the vehicle, touch it etc... my question is, if they didnt mention all the damages that has been done, it would be possible to return it back if it hasn't been mentioned?

Look up, post #4Seller: FARMERS INSURANCE .. Est. Repair Cost: $9,181 USD. That's more than "plastic broken"
