Is there a way to stop driver's side mirror from vibrating on the HWY?

It wouldn't. Thanks, Hummerz, for the video proving that the bolt is NOT the pivot. That bolt holds the entire pivoting assembly (upper and lower) onto the base/mount of the mirror. So, in Hummerz's defense, if that bolt is loose, the mirror will indeed shake/vibrate. So those of you with vibrating mirrors need to pop that cover off (or rotate the mirror to expose it) and see if the bolt has loosened up. I believe that at least some people may have that problem, while others may be looking at a worn pivot instead, like the guy in the earlier video using JB weld. Obviously he would've simply tightened that bolt if it was the issue, since he had it exposed there.

As I previously posted, my NEW Alpha vibrated from day one. 2 NEW subsequent mirrors vibrated immediately upon installation. Everything I've read about, (so far), only the driver's mirror had this anomaly. Since the mirrors are identical in design, only symmetrically opposite, I believe it's a manufacturing process glitch, (something in the tooling?), affecting the left mirror.
Edit: I just noticed both of Wil's mirrors vibrate. This is the first I've heard of the passenger mirror having a problem so it might possibly be an unrelated issue to the ongoing problem we're seeing.

You're right, both my mirrors vibrate, but the drivers side is the real offender. I taped my passenger side mirror in hopes that it did not get more loose.
The passenger side was barely vibrating. My passenger side mirror may have had a different problem than the drivers
side mirror curse. Both my mirrors get hit by branches when I am off road and that is yearly.
My simple fix of matt black tape has worked, but I am sure many owners cringe at the idea of any kind of tape.

, no the pivot point IS the metal piece on top that is press-fit into the plastic cup for the upper mirror portion. The plastic wears creating a "not so tight" press-fit.
The pivot point is a full metal jacket sleeve, same concept you would find on any door hinge.
