Follow up question tho; did you only have only 1-2 shift coz the computer was relearning from the new solenoids or was there something else going on? I'm worried now that if I change all solenoids and get into a situation like that
To clarify, one morning I took a drive, after I pulled out of my driveway I noticed it was sluggish, lacking speed. I stopped and hit the "pedal to the metal", same result. I then dropped the shifter to 1 and back to normal. 1-2 shift at 15mph and 2-3 shift at 25mph. I don't use 4(D) until 55mph+. I came home and ordered a new 1-2 and 2-3 (why not since I was in there) along with a new filter/gasket set. In the meantime, I drove around manually shifting. Drop it to 1, shift to 2 @15mph, then shift to 3 @25mph, until I received the parts. After I installed solenoids+new filter, and more new DexVI, I took it for a test drive. Straight out of my driveway 0-60 in less than 10 seconds. Had to stop at the stop sign, then back to NO 1-2. Had to manually shift again. I went to my autozone, 1 mile away, and bought a can of SEAFOAM TRANS TUNE and dumped it in, in the parking lot and drove around a few miles, manually shifting while testing automatic starting in 3. It finally came back and still shifting smooth and on the proper shift points to this day. Moral of the story, try SEAFOAM TRANS TUNE first! In your case throw parts at it, and hope for the best. Ohhh that makes sense then! In your case it seems that it wasn't the solenoids but something else making it work like **** until you used seafoam.
i have no driveability issues, except the car getting sluggish and loud from stop at operating temps but that's most probably the fan clutch I've figured because i can hear and feel it doing the same even if i rev the engine when parked or at neutral so it can't be the trans and the RPMs don't go nuts either. Just a lot of wind/air sound and slow to pickup.

Other than that it shifts and drives well, just no TC lockup. That's the only reason I'm throwing these parts at it coz the solenoids are the only thing that remain unchanged after the rebuild and the same code has stayed.

Hi guys, and especially @hummerz ! This took a while and but I was doing my thorough testing before updating - AND THE CODE AND CEL IS GONE!
I couldn't be happier and thanks to @hummerz for the guidance and the links to the solenoid kit, that did the trick. Changed out the harness as well as all the solenoids and it's been good since.

Thank you so much for helping out, the dash isn't lit anymore and I couldn't be happier! Until the next code now 😂
