Default Taillight when signalling

Anyone ever see this before? Wasn?t happening a couple weeks ago. When using the signal to the left the left taillight bulbs all signal. Checked fuses, switched the bulb harness to the right and works fine. All front lights and right rear work normally. No fast blinking.

Looks like yours has been modified from stock, including an extra bulb? Maybe start with that?

Update: found that if I switch the 2 taillight harnesses with the same bulbs the blinking issue remains on the left side. So not the bulbs or harnesses. I replaced the clock spring on the steering wheel because it looked rough and I have a seatbelt light on also. Checked the condition of the BMU and looks fine. Checked trailer and taillight fuses. Remounted the ground in the rear for the wiring harness. Still no changes.

Do you have a scanner capable of reading the ABS module and system? If not, get one or have a scan done and post the code(s) if any.

Where you said BMU, did you mean Body Control Module????
