Default switches for off road lights

This is my first post on this forum, and i am also very new to
owning a H3. About 2 months ago i bought a 2006 H3 base model
that was once used as an Army recruiter vehicle. Since i have bought
it i have been slowly doing some add ons.. My question is that I added
a 28" LED light bar to the front, and when wiring it up i found what looks
to be a spot for factory accessory switches between the switch for the
rear wiper and the two 12V outlets. Does anyone out there know of a
switch that will fit in there or have any other ideas for placement of a
switch?

Welcome to the forums!

A few pics of the rig would be awesome.

I noticed the price of that button is 20.00. You could probably do much better on an aftermarket switch, and place it where ever you'd like.

For my offroad lights, I mounted the switch slightly to the right of the parking break release, hidden from view.

Go to your local auto parts store. Get a rocker switch that mounts in a 1/2" dia. hole. My local Advanced Auto has dozens to choose from $2 to $10.
Use those factory locations. The black filler removes from the inside.

Thanks everyone for the input! I did decide to go with the factory switch
that was found on Ebay. Hopefully it shows up fast!

I did not install the switches yet, I just ordered them yesterday.. I just
couldn't wait that long for them to show up and not try out my light bar
so I used a cheap switch i had laying around in the garage and just let it
hang for a few days. The switch i got was part #88963885 should hopefully
fit in the spot perfectly... We will wait and see.

I was going to install this type of switch. The oval shape fits in the oval recess of the panel.

I ended up needing 4 switches so I didn't install anything in the factory locations. I made a custom 4 switch panel that I mounted into the console at the front, just below the switch locations and the power outlets.

Seriously, you drive a Hummer and you worry about buying a $20 switch to fit it correctly??

I can understand saving money, but really for $20 to have your interior looking stock and functional seems like a bargain to me.

PS I have the factory switches and they work fine and look great:
