Stuck seat
The 6 function control on the passenger seat is down to 5. It won’t go into reverse.
I just watched a video of a guy moving the seat using a drill with a square bit. (Admittedly on a Dodge Caravan.)
Before rushing in, I was wondering whether anyone had done this on the H3.

Absolutely agree. It’s just that I’m looking for a quick patch until I can get back to home base. It will be no fun driving nearly 900 miles with some very grumpy passengers!

I will assume you looked under there, better with it all the way up. I looked at an H3 and the passenger seat was stuck.... turned out the owner's kid popped the rear seat cup holder out and stuffed it under the seat which when lowered jammed it all up. I passed so it wasn't my problem to fix.

I looked under the seat first lol. The switch works fine in every direction except reverse. Not even a click to show it has a spark of life.
In order to get the seat back I got a Gatorgrip and applied it to the end of the sprocket on the pinion. It worked, but wouldn’t recommend it as an ongoing solution. A get me back to Florida thing.
