Still Have Daytime Running Lights After Fused Pulled
I pulled fuse 39 on my 07 Hummer but I still see the lights are coming on which seems weird. I park in the garage, once I turn the key the lights come on before putting it in gear, I think that's because the sensor on the dash.
When I'm coming home my home camera picks me up pulling into the driveway and I can see the lights are on.
I'm soon going to be installing 7" Led's along with led fogs and would like to get this figured out. Is there a fuse that I could pull for the sensor on the dash?
I followed the info from this link

After pulling DRL fuse #39 they are still staying on. I'm trying to find out why this is happening
If you pulled the fuse the only other reason the headlights would be on is because the BCM has switched them on. This can be because the switch is "on", or by the sensor in auto mode.. You can confirm that the lamps are "on" and not in DRL mode by switching high/low beam - that only works when the lamps are "on."
You are talking about headlights................ 2006s used the Running Lights as DRLs. Headlights are auto on for 2007+.
With an H3 your headlights will be on when you start the engine and it is dark enough to trigger the sensor. If it is bright, then they come on when you put it in gear.
The ONLY way to turn the headlights off after either of the above is to turn the switch to the left and let go every time you drive it.

Thanks for the information but I was under the impression that 2007 was the first year that the drl fuse could be removed to cut the lights, but it sounds like my lights that are coming on are the headlights. I remember many years ago my brother had a 06 H3 that we installed HID bulbs but we could never get the lights to turn off because there was no fuse for the drl in that year.
it's not my DRL that are coming on. I've pulled the fuse and relay and they were still on. It's my headlights as mentioned when they were on I can put the high beams on. It's the auto function I've read that the sensor can be very sensitive plus the fact I installed a dash cover. I'm looking into installing a European headlight switch so I can manually turn the auto function off without always needed to do it every time I start the vehicle.

Like Doc Olds says
All you need to do is=''Turn the switch to the left and let go''...It takes one second & the lights turn off!!!
