Default Stab Sys Trac Fail error

Hi. I have been getting the "Stab Sys Traction Failed" message on my 2008 H3 Alpha... Can anyone tell me what this means? Do I need to get it fixed? Vehicle runs smooth... But I want to fix my baby if she needs it! Any help would be appreciated!!

First you have to post your H3 questions in the .................................................. .............................. that's right............................................. ..................................... H3 section.

When you ask a question, miles on the truck and any recent work done just before the problem are important pieces of diagnostic information.

Yes, it means you have a poor connection/out of voltage spec/grounding condition in one of several possible areas. Which? ....... don't have enough info from you.

East stuff, get under the truck and check your wire harness connector to the Transfer Case Actuator looking for frays, wires rubbing, deformed or damaged wires. Take the connector apart, spray both the wire end connector and T Case Actuator connection with electrical connector cleaner, let dry, re-connect. Look at all your ABS wheel sensor connections and wiring for the same kinds of trouble.

Are you still using the crappy OEM Battery Terminal Connectors?

Did you plug everything back in when you removed the center dash and other panels to TRY and install the radio and remote starter, then remove it because you couldn't get it to work?

See, you need to tell us what you have done previously to your rig also. The history of everything you have done matters as well as the year, model, miles and engine.

We will try to help but we need ALL of the information to help.

Easy step, check your brake light switch fuse, also 3rd brake module. Once I replaced with led bulbs, no OEM module, light was always indicated on dash
