Default Squirrel nest inside headlamp well - driver side

Pregnant squirrel ate some wires and had babies in there. Can I splice wires back together. Can try match them by color, is there another way to make sure they are matched ?

or replace the headlight harness ? Can I find used?

Chop the damaged wiring, get yourself a roll of the proper gauge wire(doesn't matter the color, just the proper gauge) and some heat shrink tubing. Solder or butt connect and shrink wrap the new wire/connections.

Forgot to add, after you match/repair the wires: REPEL THOSE TREE RATS. Cayenne pepper, works for me.
