Unhappy Splash on Tube Steps

Does this bother anyone, else? This the front of the rear tire, and the rear of the right side tube step.
If so, what has/can be done about it?

Also, since we're in the neighborhood of the wheel wells, are the Husky Splash Guards larger than OEM?

Thanks,
EJ

Not much can be done. I've got splash guards on my H3 and they still don't really stop the slop.
