Shocks
They're all pricey, but I cant figure out why the H3-specific front shocks (ARB90001) are so much more expensive versus all the other ARB Nitrocharger sport shocks.
They are specifically tuned/valved for the H3 with the Adventure/OffRoad package.
Nothing but complements on these shocks. Most of the HUMMERs I wheel with have switched over to the ARB/OME Nitrochargers after riding in my rigs.
Whoops.... I know this guy. I do suffer from CRS though. Been diagnosed by my wife and kids. Can't Remember Sheet.
I installed Monroe Reflex shocks on the rear of my Alpha this morning. Took me about an hour because I did a few things differently than the u-tube videos:
- I did not jack up the vehicle.
- the upper bolts were 10 mm, not 13 mm. Maybe mine were not OEM.
- painted the body work around the upper shocks mounting while the shocks were out.
- put anti-seize on the upper mount bolts to prevent rust.
- installed the upper shock bolts before removing the restraining plastic that came on the shocks, so the shock could not extend until the top was mounted.
- screwed, rather than hammered, the lower bolts in; hammering in bolts can damage the threads.
- changed the rear bump stops while I was under the truck.
