Default Seat Back Nets

650 HAWK posted this simple solution back in 2015. My thanks to 650 HAWK as well as the other terrific forum members that offered suggestions! I spent $0.86 on this project for 12" of 3/8" diameter clear tubing. Cut each length to about 24 mm (0.944"). No specific reason for the length, just seemed to fit well. Installed the tubes inside the elastic ribbon holding the plastic snap.
As they say: "EASY PEASY, LEMON SQUEEZEY".
NEXT PROJECT: REMOVE OEM RADIO & INSTALL AFTERMARKET NAV/RADIO.

Yes! This has got be one of GM's lousiest designs. I sewed them tighter and just a few years later they have stretched again. Lol! Just crap. I think the tube idea is nice but not certain ill be able to look at it all the time. Just cant stand the look of stuff not right. I'm guessing am gonna need to redo the stretch straps again. Only this time all new elastic.

Don't understand what you mean by "...but not certain I'll be able to look at it all the time."
You CANNOT SEE THE TUBING AT ALL! The tubing is behind the black frame!

.
Elastic stretches over time.

Secure the hooks!

I did, over 9yrs ago, & after transporting numerous loads hitting them, my nets still have never fell off!

My wife and I checked Yellow Boy this evening and those two seat back Nets are still looking great and staying where they should be! We call the H3 "Yellow Boy" because he's yellow and we also like weapons.
