Default Removing torsion bars to access catalytic converter

How much ouble is it to actually remove the torsion bar competely.. It appears it needs to be done in order to get the exhaust pipe and cat out. How difficult is it to actually get the torsion bar back in once completed. Is the process just removing the torsion key, then sliding the bar out. The replacing it, just replace the torsion bar in the key and then fastening down the key? Do you actually need a torsion key tool/c clamp thing? I read something about that.

You do NOT need to remove a torsion bar to do exhaust work.

If you want to remove the mid pipe and catalytic converter I’m pretty sure you do because you can’t move the pipe out forward because the torsion bar prevents it and you can move it rearward out because the car doesn’t fit through the brackets and transfer case

anyway. Easy job.
