There are a lot of sites that try to sale you there torsion key removel tool thats over $100 dollars, but you can use a 2 arm Jaw puller and it works a lot better than the $100 tool. I got on at Auto Zone (part number 25915) for 29.99, its a 5 ton puller but you do not have to get that large of one and removed both keys out and back in with in 5 mins.

 

Can't you just turn the torsion bars with a wrench?

 

he means to take the preload off to remove the adjustment bolt.... it's needed when changing keys...

but there is no way I'd personally use a 2 jaw puller.... and if I did... I don't own one under $100 so the $75 I spent on my Kent Moore torsion bar tool is worth my peace of mind...
