Default Rear view mirror with camera

Hi guys. I'm buying a hummer rear view mirror with the screen that is inside the mirror. The seller says that it has parking lines on the display. Can these lines be turned off?Name: COMPASSTEMPAUTODIMBACKUPCAMERADISPLAY.jpg

That doesn't look like OEM equipment to me, where's the OnStar stuff? The ones I've seen with the display in the mirror still have the OnStar buttons.

The H3 OEM mirror has a powered, retractable monitor.

09 and up does not. It is built into the rear view with a screen just like the one posted. They just moved over to the other rear view mirrors being used on their other vehicles. I would assume due to reliability issues since there are no moving parts to fail.

Too bad......don't know about the reliability factor, but it was a slick concept!

It was! The first time I drove an H3 I was like "What's up with this funky rectangular mirror??" and then I popped it into reverse and went "ok now that's cool...."

OP: That is NOT an 09/10 OEM H3/H3T mirror with screen. I'll go out and take a photo and post it up here in a few minutes!

Notice there isn't any lines and the Onstar buttons are present.

I believe there is a different wiring harness used for backup camera equipped vehicles.

Not sure on the harness that goes to the rear for the camera. The mirror harness looks like this:
