A bit more PBBlaster and muscle and clean up and now able to snap it out twice but it still gets stuck once partially out and so far no luck. Sprayed it again and will wait a few minutes. If I do get it out should I do any cleaning etc or just stick the one one immediately to make sure nothing gets in there?

Your getting there.. Clamp on a pair of visegrips on the screw closest to the axle and carefully pry on the visegrips with a screwdriver/prybar..all debris should come out with the sensor, once its out, lubricate the new sensor and carefully push it in, until it's flush, then bolt it down and connect.

how do I lubricate the new sensor ? lol I finally got the old one out with pliers on the screw. I just put the new one in without lubrication.... I am guessing I will need to drive out to get whatever lubricant will be needed, can you suggest a product?

No. if the new one slid in, you're good to go. Bolt down, reconnect and properly secure the harness, then clear the codes. Nice work.

much appreciated I actually connected the harness while waiting on the PB Blaster to penetrate one of the times so now just going to bolt it back on and put the tires on. In terms of the codes will they reset on their own eventually? I do not have a scanner capable of reading ABS, otherwise will need to take a ride to Auto Zone use theirs.

Yes, the warning light will turn off, yet if you don't clear the code, it will still be logged. Get a scanner with abs capability, they are cheap and very useful. In the meantime you can go to Auto zone to clear the codes and rescan.

Can you suggest one ? I could not find one under $100 and did not feel like it warrants purchasing for a 1 time occurrence. The scanner I have always worked fine for all other issues.

You have an '06. a scanner is always useful, to help you diagnose.
Here's one, with SRS too, under $100:
Amazon Amazon

thank you! to be honest we have been planning to get rid of this truck for a couple years now but it seems to stick with us..... now with the Corona Virus looks like I will permanently work from home and may just upgrade the wife and keep it in case I need to drive to work or pickup supplies. Original plan was to trade it in when my lease is up in a couple months but you maybe right if this thinks sticks around.

do not even bother trading it in to the stealership. unless you need 3000 bucks or less to seal the deal. sell it privately you will make much more since it is worth much more. the stealer will under appraise the vehicle.
