Read If Your H3 Radiator Has Cracked or Leaked
However, it seems that my search criteria did not filter correctly.
So, those are in fact the correct prices for those specific radiators but none of them are for a Hummer. Good prices if you need one.
I see a few places that have the "entry level" rads for around $100 bucks and users here seem to be having good, or at least equal experiences with them compared to the more expensive/Delco branded units.
Through my reading here, some users are convinced that they are identical.
Any advice or experiences are welcomed.
Thanks.
And that's exactly what I set out to do this morning.

I have the same signs of coolant on the top of the radiator shield toward the front of the grill. No leaks in the hoses though. Only 40,000 on my 2009 H3.
Guess i need a new radiator, but vehicle is no longer under warranty.
Any ideas on what route to take for replacement that will not break the bank?
Thanks guys !

You guys do realize, this is supposed to be a READ thread, not a post and blabber thread.
No point in replacing a crap radiator with another crap radiator, do it once, do it right. Somebody famously said, "you get what you pay for".

https://www.hummerforums.com/forum/m...adiator-34948/Hey Doc> where should we be discussing the purchase of entry level radiators if not here?
They're really sweet but I can't do the $500+ aluminum radiator. If I ever own a Rolls Royce, that'll be the first one I buy - and I'll have my full time mechanic install it for me.
But, I have an 8-year-old Hummer and I turn my own wrenches and like most Americans these days, I need to spend wisely. That's why I purchased a Hummer and not a Rolls Royce in the first place.
Please advise. Thanks!

I'll buy the $530 increased cooling capacity bullet proof radiator made in the USA.
You can open up a new thread in the H3 section, title it: "Looking For Cheap Crap Replacement Radiator"... and ask for info on the cheapest possible replacement available, might want to add you do not care if it will puke in 12-18 months or was made in Taiwan or China, etc.

Wow, you're pretty cynical for a moderator.
Clearly, we're all here to trade knowledge and information and the motivation for most, is to save money. And from my experiences, spending the most money does not always guarantee that you get the best product.
I'll start that thread, thanks for your assistance.

Approximately 70% of all GM vehicle production/sales occurs in cheap junk China. (will site websites for trolls, if needed)
Anyways, my cheap radiator replacement has lasted longer than GM's piece of **** OEM.
