Rancho Vs. Tuff Country
With either lift you have your tires stuck out past your fenders which leads to increased wear and tear on your front end components along with slinging crap all over, most notably gravel which likes to rain back down on you and in my case with a sunroof not a great situation.
You really gain nothing with the lift other than 'the look' I don't give a crap what mine looks like. save the money get a torsion lift, shocks, tires and a winch and your gtg.
Great now we have other hummer owners bashing each other, good job children. Keep making the forum an awesome place to learn and inviting for new members.

Obviously, things have gone off topic.
I appreciated Tainter's first couple of posts, it helped me understand things a little better. I wasn't born with a Hummer H3 in my crib. This is my first off-road vehicle and I'm excited to personalize it to my own unique design interests. What I had a problem with was him pulling out the arrogancy card when I thought we were having a simple conversation. Situations like this is why my post count is so low, I don't need to deal with arrogant people like this when I could have just walked into the dealership face to face. If his druthers is to waste time trolling the Internet and insulting people with false accusations, let him. Maybe it gives him and his wife something interesting to talk over at dinner. If it's the highlight of his day, maybe he needs that to not make the final step and have a one way conversation with a revolver. Who knows what his situation is? I would just let him make an *** out of himself, censor his own posts and pull his punches at the word "snivelling". If that's what he needs to feel good, let him enjoy it.
Me? I'll be taking useful advice where I think it's relevant to me and cutting out the bull**** as I have been. This place isn't an organized encyclopaedia, it's a place to hold conversations and draw upon one another's experience. That's what i was hoping to do with Tainter in the beginning. I still will if he has something relevant to say. If not, he's not important enough to hurt my feelings..
Hey Talusfan! **** you, you ****in mother ****er. So what if they have an opinion, at least they are knowledgeable unlike some of the people here. TAINTER and Bunger are too good for this site especially with their knowledge. It's douches like you that give people their attitudes. And when I get banned from here, I could give two ****'s because this site is nothing to me and never will be. Taint and bunger, you know where to find me...
Well...
Alright, then.
I appreciated those of you who took the conversation seriously. Gpcalero, did you get what you needed out of it? I was able to get a little more information out of Tainter before he started erasing all of his posts in his temper tantrum. I know he sent you a PM since he thought it was cute to throw it in my face like a child. That's good. At the very least, I think we have a pretty good basis of opinion on why Rancho is better then Tuff Country, but it seems a lot of people are recommending just cranking out the torsion bars and approaching the obstacle differently when off roading and that lifts don't help out as much as we would like them to.
I'm still on the fence about buying, but now the decision isn't Rancho or Tuff Country, it's lift or no lift..

Nothing I wouldn't tell you to your face. I guess the feelings are mutual... Do you know the real story? Obviously you don't, so how are you in any position to judge how the forums are ran? You ran away from it! You don't even know half of it....
