So I took my H3 back to the dealership for the same problem (Clicking/Popping when I take a sharp turn) They are telling me it is the frame mounting spacers? They already replaced the CV Axel Boot the first time I took it in. They said it's the body and the frame making contact. Has anyone here had to replace the frame mounting spacers before? Did you here these sounds before you replaced them?

On my 08 H3 I had an issue where I could feel the clicking/popping when turning to the point I could feel it through the brake pedal. It ended up being the lower steering shaft I think. There was a TSB for it too. I traded it in a few years ago and just bought an 07 and I think it's having the same issue. I have to see if the info was on one of my old threads since I know I put the TSB # on the thread. That would probably help you when you go back to the dealer, and me since I'd like to get it fixed too.

 

Search--> rack mount bushings.

 

My post on this must have been on another forum that got rid of a lot of old threads so I can't find it. I did find this site that had the TSB # so if this is the issue you're having, at least this is a start when you go to the dealer.
