Default popping when turning right or left

08 H3 15k miles
Rancho 4inch
37x18 terra grapplers

Just started to get cool here in Austin. I mention this because i didn't notice it till it was raining and cold outside.

Was driving around and noticed when turning right or left I get a single pop, like something shifting from left to right.

Did a search and found a lot on the H2 but not much on the H3.

Any insite?

Also no one ever made upper control arms for this thing in 5 years of production. Seriously? That makes no sense at all.

Working on it...we made a set last year but they were too expensive to put into production. New design should help that but things take time..

I saw that thread. So your cost including all labor was 1100.00ish? Truthfuly for a specialty vehicle paying 1600-2000 for something like this is not unreasonable if all of the associated parts are top of the line. I know there are people building some for the xterra in this range.

Have you checked your steering rack clamp? Without an aftermarket clamp and new bushings pressed in and VERY HEAVY 37s adn RIMZ too you are ging to ruin the clamp and round out the other bushings very soon if not already.

Bet that is where your noise is coming from.

Check out: Hummer H3 Parts - OUTFITTER DESIGN
They have all the goodies you will need for your rig to run 37s and stay together.

I personally run 37s and have the Steering Rack Reinforcement Kit and the H3 Heavy Duty Tie Rods (giant Azz tie rods). They help out a TON especially if you wheel...

I saw that the power steering was or could be a problem. I will definitely invest in these. Wish they weren't on back order though.
