Persistent squeal- help
I have been through three mechanics and a number of repairs to try and figure this out.
ROTATIONAL SOUNDING squeal, sounds like front wheel is where coming from.
first mechanic said was belt and idler tensioner, replaced. No difference. Sent it back then it was front u joint loose. No difference and Sent it back. Said then rear u joint (even thought it was only 3 months old), replaced and no difference. It’s a LOUD noise I can’t figure out HOW he didn’t identify that.
so frustrated went to a new mechanic. Said it was pitted rotors and replaced front brakes and serviced (cleAned rears). NO DIFFERENCE.
i can’t believe no one can figure out this loud rotational squeal.
any suggestions from anyone?

If you have chrome wheels look at the inside of your wheels. When the chrome starts to peel it sometimes peels back in large chunks and rubs as the wheel rotates causing a squealing sound. I chased this problem for several weeks before I found it. There was 5" square piece of chrome peeled back that rubbed as the wheel rotated.
