Default Passenger door won't open?

My passenger door won't open from the inside nor the outside. I've tried to use the power locks as well as unlock it manually. Also, I cannot take the door panel off because the door is currently shut. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Do you live in the north, is it freezing outside, was your truck wet?

If not, your door lock rod(s) may have become disconnected or broke? Take it to a lock smith, tow truck service,
body shop, or jimmy open the door yourself if you know how, then take off the door panel and have a look see.

You can search H3 Hummer door speaker installs for how to on the door panel and lock rods.

good time to remind that the back hatch is impossible to open if lock mechanis goes bad. i asked a svc mgr about it. he shook his head and said,"door has to be taken apart". how? dont know.

I'm experiencing the exact same issue. I just replaced the exterior door handle for the passenger side doors. The rear door hasn't given me any problems but I've had to reset the "trigger" twice already on the front passenger exterior handle. Now my passenger front door won't even open. I don't know what to do but call my uncle, a locksmith.

the mechanism cant last forever. when they go we are in trouble.
years ago, with the rear hatch open i exercized the lock with remote while looking/feeling. there is NOTHING you can feel or see that would let you open it when failed. and thats with door open !! imagine if you had a large item in there that cannot be removed thru another door! you gotta learn to live with it,,,FOREVER..or cut the door open with an air chizel i guess.

Nah, just another lcoksmith spammer that got banned. They have been stopping by with links to their service web sites in their first posts etc..... Lock business must be slow if you spend a chunk of your day spamming auto forums?

I edited your post to remove the link to a locksmith in GA.
