Default p305 flashing CEL sometimes

OK Now another issue .

Just replaced all 5 COil packs and spark plugs . Now I get a flashing Check Engine Light. Will flash then go off then flash then go off the flash and stay steady on.
When I clear it at idle OK as soon as above 2400 rpm the cycle starts again.

I have replaced that new coil and plug AGAIN ( no arcing nooticed on the new plug) and still get the same results . Is it my injector now. Happened as soon as I swapped out all 5 plugs and packs.

Funny thing engine running smooth as can be, doesnt not skip a beat .

Baffled. !!

swap the coil forward to another cylinder see if the misfire follows the coil

check the harness end of the coil to make sure you have a clean connection

p305 is misfire on cylinder 5. check the harness going to it maybe it got damaged also check its injector harness and plug.

Harness and plug come into play only @ high rpm? This condition may be caused by major carbon build up on the intake and/or exhaust valves due to fuel contamination or incomplete burning of the fuel.

corrosion in the harness or plug connectors can cause resistance hummerz and in a high demand scenario it can keep it from sending the proper current they need to operate at high RPM under load.

Yes indeed, corrosion could manipulate the signal, however the signal would not change with rpm's. Btw, I've saved many, informed they needed a new engine, simply by, performing an induction cleaning.

it is not about signal its about current draw. it might work fine at a 5 amp draw but choke when it demands 15 amps

Note: Fuel oxidation and volatility concerns can often cause these issues as well, however they cannot generally be checked in service. Trying a different, high quality Top Tier fuel and regular oil changes is sometimes the best diagnostic. Additional gasoline retailers are added to the TOP TIER list when their gasoline meet the TOP TIER Detergent Gasoline Standards.
