I got injector 2 circuit short
and cylinder 2 misfireP0202 And P0302 came on suddenly while driving home car running like crap and no power

I took off the intake manifold checked the wiring around no short or stripped wires

I checked the injector for resistance and it passed

i took off the coil and checked it and it failed


could it possibly be that the coil is bad and it cause injector code also??

 

Any abnormal noise coming from the engine? Bulletin No.: 19-NA-219

 

When it happened yes like it’s hard to describe but the car had poor performance barely accelerate, check engine light flashing and the engine making like weird sound yes, like cylinder 2 not working maybe sound due to the misfire not sure how to describe it

 

can a bad ignition coil cause both codes?

 

PO202 is a fuel injector circuit issue which triggers PO302. Check the #2 fuel injector connector and make sure it has clean contacts and properly secured.

 

what is weird is I checked the resistance of the the injector and it came okay but when I checked for coil #2 it failed the resistance so my coil was bad or going bad that’s why I was wondering if that triggered the injector and I cleaned the injector port and gonna make sure it’s all the way in and test it again it just a pain to take off and put the intake manifold just to test it out

 

Clear the codes, and monitor, first code up is your code to trace! 202 will trigger 302.

 

i am still getting the stupid dman code i cleaned it i checked the wires nothing cut I made sure its clicked well it was just fine yesterday and today it gave me the code again the first one is injector 2 code and the 2 one is cylinder 2 misfire. What can be the damn problem !! I don’t understand

 

Check/clean contacts at the bulkhead connector.

 

I did but while I am driving it will come for like a sec and goes away I am getting code p0202 and p0300 now help
