Default Oil pump replacement

06 H3,, low oil pressure at idle, already changed sensor with OEM, Using the correct oil and filter just changed. sending the PCM to get idle raised, if this doesn't correct it I am planning on Oil pump and pressure spring replacement.

My question is: is it necessary to pull engine to remove oil pan? is there a link to step by step process to doing this?
Thanks

Probably didn't word it right.sending the PCM to get idle speed increased by about 100 rpm. read on other forums this has helped the oil pressure light from coming on at idle, cant seem to find any more definitive fix

back in the day, it was considered quaker shale,,, I've never used it.

Try this:

Engine flush(15minutes) then change oil/ filter.

step 1:

Pour into engine, then run engine for 15 minutes, then turn engine off, and drain oil, wait another 15minutes to drain, while you are waiting, replace the filter:

Then fill with 6qts of recommended oil:

Then post your results.

I will try this. However I have been using Quaker State 5w 30 for about 60,000 miles with zero problems, but I'm always open to suggestions, I will try it.
