probably leaking out of the rack. you need to pull the inner tie rod boot to confirm.

yes I’ll take that bolt off where it’s holding the bushing and confirm. But is that normal? The rack goes bad.?

the boot is to the right of your red circle in the pics. its the black rubber accordion being held with the zip tie. not the rack bushing with the clamp and bolts you circled.
if oil comes out of the rubber boot then most likely the rack seal is blown. if it is dry inside the boot then the leak is elseware look to see if the leak is coming from above

okay thank you I’ll take off that bolt in the red circle bad inspect the leak come like instantly as soon as I start the hummer I’ll clean it really well and start it and see where the leak is coming. I don’t think it’s above it but I’ll double check. It’s either the rack it self because it’s rusty or that seal you mentions, can the seal be bought and like replaced ?

the seal might be available but i do not know how hard it would be to replace, the issue is not what you keep wanting to remove by the way. you might want to re read what i stated. red circle not the issue. black accordion look there, need to remove and inspect. are you a millennial?

I removed the boot and the old clamp started the car and even took it for a little ride no leak. Nothing from the seal or the middle of it. Above is the the pressure line that goes from the pump to that piece and back. It seems little wet and really rusty . So I went and ordered that and gonna replace it and see if there is any more leak. I also ordered new bushings for it because mine were like gone. The good thing is nothing coming from the seal and that the part it self not leaking that I noticed after a drive and at idle

so I changed the leaking hose and bled the system to get air out. For some reason the steering wheel is very hard to turn. I bled the system twice. What causing this? What did I miss?
