Hy,

NO diagnostic trouble codes are shown in the scan tool

NO mil is on.

ALL the other intruments are going well

It’s all right with the car, the only problem is that the odometer and tip odometer are stop, the first on the total km and the second on 0.0 km.

the mechanic has disconnect the battery for some days to make her job (change head valves).

any help is appreciated

thanks

Paolo

Did you have the cluster replaced? Was it with a used cluster?
If so, the used cluster Odometer will not work until it reads the same mileage/KM as the vehicle it was removed from.

example.
Original cluster mileage: 44,000 miles
Used cluster mileage: 55,000 miles
The used cluster will not move until your vehicle reaches 55,000 miles.

NO.

As i wrote before i don’t change anything on my H3. The mechanic changed only the valves,
what i can do or tell him to do?
can i update the software or something else?

thanks

You can replace your instrument cluster.

Palo "You", not your so called mechanic, disconnect both the positive and negative terminals from the battery.
Touch the positive and negative wires together. Hold them for about 30 seconds.
Reattach the positive and negative to the corresponding battery posts.
See if that works!
