Hummer H3For the Hummer driver who wants the rugged look and off road capabilities of the Hummer, but in a smaller size and with a more fuel economy friendly engine.
Id hate to say trash them How was the ride when you first got the Hummer, and with the old shocks? Did you put the 18 wheels on? What size tire is on the 18 inch wheel? A lower profile tire has a stiffer sidewall and can make the ride feel rougher over pot holes or rough roads. Maybe check all the things the other guys listed to see if any of those things are contributing to the issue.
when I got it honestly was super rough ride felt tired and wore out the original shocks was still on it at 192k it came with 18s on it they ate 275/65r18 tire pressure 40 it’s beautiful hummer bright red motor bay looked clean just seemed like nobody loved it
they are 275/65/r18 ,40 psi ,front center cap to bottom of fender is 20 inches, front of the rim to bottom was like 11 inches sorry doing my best lol and other idk
1. Lower the tire pressure. 30psi is what the door sticker says for the 18" wheels. Try 32-33psi.
2. make sure your progressive dampers are in good condition and not squished against the lower A arms. I have seen some that are just trashed.
They are in integral part of the IFS torsion bar suspension.
3. I 2nd the OME NitroCharger shocks. Had them on several H3/H3Ts and they are the best all around shocks for our application.

B6 4600 Monotube OEM Shocks is what people agree on ?
The Bilstein 4600 was my suggestion, I’ve had great luck with Bilstein on many different applications. But two others have suggested the ARB Old Man Emu Nitro Shocks.
Here is a link to the Nitro Shocks. Looks like a nice Gas charged shock. I have no experience with them, but two other seem to swear they have been the best for them, so that a good recommendation.
