Default new to me h3 TE

I recently bought an h3, and was told it was a rare tactical edition, can anyone tell me how to tell if it is a TE and if so what number it would be?

My tactical edition is a 2007 3.7L i5 and came with black interior, black rims, brush guard, running boards, hard plastic rear tire cover, and "tactical edition" chrome badges (the only real resemblence of chrome anywhere on the exterior other than the H3 badges). From what I've researched on them, Hummer made them in red, black and tan, all of which came with the black outfitting mentioned above and I believe they were only produced in 2007. I slapped a couple of KC Slimlites on the brush guard, tinted the front windows and addded a tow package and I love the looks. Also added the airdoc intake/high flow air filter combo and PCMforless tune and the performance increase was exactly what the i5 needed. Love my ride, hope you enjoy yours!

Almost forgot, stock tires were 265/75-16 highway tires but I swapped them out at 50,000 miles for a set of BF Goodrich TA/KO 285/75-16s and they look real nice (black walls out of course). They killed my MPGs but that's the balance you pay for the looks vs. fuel economy (averaged 16.5mpg - dropped to 14.5 mpg average post tire install).

A pic would help, and they only came in 3 colors, had black wheels and the black plastic tire cover that is too small for 33"s since they all came with wimpy 265 (32"s).

From Hummerguy.net:
"The Hummer H3 Tactical limited edition will have black 16 wheels. It’s a unique design since they are wheels that are normally only available in chrome, thus making it more difficult (and expensive) to have a black wheel of that design custom made in the aftermarket. We also really like the design of the new spare tire cover which will come standard on the tactical edition. A body-color grille and a black brush guard round out the added options. The limited edition Hummer H3 will only come in three colors: Red, Boulder Gray, and Black"

Hope those badges were not from this get up.

I am confused by your "hope" reply, Doc. Were the tactical badges an aftermarket addition that didn't come standard on any of the trucks from the factory and you worry that I was sold a non-tactical edition or do you just have beef with 'Morgan Design Group' and people adding aftermarket badges?

if you look at the picture of the Morgan group vehicle it has different wheels than the factory tactical editions. The tactical editions were just a looks package, but I like them alot.

From the factory the TEs did not have any noted extra badges.
Some dealerships ordered the "tactical edition" badges and placed them on the rigs to help move them off of their lots. The entire package was comprised of exterior cosmetic alterations.

The true tactical rims are almost impossible to find now and the spare tire covers go for big bucks too.

I have seen 3 fake Tactical's that were "made" from standard H3's. It was easy to find the parts years ago, not now.
I have yet to see a real Tactical Edition.

The Morgan Group vehicle has the wrong spare tire cover on it too. That's not a Tactical cover, it's more like a H3X cover, but I don't think it's even a real H3X cover.
