Your front wheel will ALWAYS turn the front differential, so your no front drive shaft did NOT rule that out.

What are the other symptoms which may cause this noise other than the bushings.. because the bushings were replaced and driven hardly 20k kms.

When your CV joint at the rear (Transfer Case End) starts to go, it makes noise. Get under the truck, grab the front drive shaft and turn/wiggle with force to see if there is play.
