My Hummer is SELF AWARE!
We all know these vehicles are computer monitored, basically all new vehicles are like driving a computer. Mine must have obtained self awareness? 
Last Friday at lunch, realizing that I had to be close for the old GM OLMS to tell me to change the oil, I swung through Advance Auto because they had a pretty good deal on 5 Qts Mobil 1 full synthetic where they throw in a free Mobil 1 oil filter (basically a K&N oil filter w/o the nut welded to the bottom). Yeah, the Oil itself was like $4 bucks cheaper at Waltucky, but those Mobil 1 filters are not cheap at $13. I looked at it like a free upgrade from an ACDelco filter to the Mobil 1.
I put the oil in on the back seat floor and head back to work with choice fast food.
At the end of the day some hours later, time to go home and have a cold one. I fire up the 3. The "Change Oil" shows up in the DIC. It must have knew that fresh Mobil 1 was inside and wanted it bad!!! Who knows what it will want next?

Next it will tell you to meet up with us @ Rausch Creek Off-Road Park on April 17th-April 19th? You never know it "could" happen.
I stock up on our Mobil1 from Costco when they run an instant rebate. 6 quarts for $42 minus rebate (usually $1 per quart). Purilator Pure1 Synthetic filters.

The Advance Auto deal was free filter and $5 rebate gift card, so not bad.

I stocked up from WallyWorld and sent in for a bunch of rebates. Guess I'm not getting anything back.

Well I guess that Walmart is an accepted vendor.
I just got my rebate check today
