In SoCal, I use Arco (AM/PM) gas, regular (87) pretty much all the time. I get 15 mpg, right on the dot, consistently, tank after tank, running a mix of highway (75mph) and city. This is with my Alpha.

this is what kills me I am not driving v8 just the I5 and your getting better mpg then me 😫

@Doc Olds got the fronts done and it does feel like I can coast more.

Old rotor and brake pads driver side

New rotors and pads in. Had the clamp in the wrong way fixed in the pic

@Doc Olds i just did the back brakes today and the rotors were a pain in the butt to take off seems like the parking brake may have been sticking and you can’t even tell. I wonder if this could be the culprit. I was talking to
my dad he said cut the remove the parking brakes. Is their a way to adjust the tension on the parking brakes without going back into the rotor?

Replacing your air filter with a new or performance type air intake could help if the old one is restricted.

Consider a tune as well.

@wpage already had a pcm tune and K&N with a snorkel intake. Thanks for the suggestion tho.

@wpage thanks but lol I don’t think I will find this solution honestly. @TAINTER my filter has no oil on it is it supposed to have some?

I get around +4mpg without my payload.
