The overall mpg is not a major concern for me! I was just curious what the difference was going to be!

Good deal of difference between 265 to 315. Went that route once, won't do it again. Weight goes up, unsprung weight goes way up, braking goes down, mileage goes down.

285's are fine they make alot of good tread patterns in that size depending on what you are looking for.

I like to throw dollars bills out my window while driving, just to let others on the road know I drive a hummer and money is no object LMAO.

I have 325/60/R20 Pirelli's and i'm getting around 11.2 MPG!!! It sucks I know, but you need to look at my H3 and see that it completely worth the REALLY BAD MPG!!!

At 11.2mpg I would have to wonder what the overall cost of having that wheel tire combo is over the life of the vehicle and what I could do with all that extra cash instead.

Let's see
50k miles at 11 mpg = 4,545 gallons of fuel x $3.75= $17,043.00

or 50k miles at 17 mpg = 2,941 gallons of fuel x $3.75= $11,028.00

So an extra 6 grand + the 1.5-2k for the wheel and tire package price to look cool for 50k miles.

No thanks.

Talusfan,

You have to see in what amount of time you drive those miles. I drive about 200 miles (about one tank of gas)every two weeks and where I live the price of a gallon of gas (Central America, Nicaragua) is about US$ 4.80. So I know it expensive, but its all relative because I've had my Hummer since 2006 and it only has 21k miles on it!
