I strongly recommend to avoid compromise of structural integrity!

Both of my rear skid plate bolts have weld nuts in the cross-member. It is not even possible to install U-nuts in these holes. The 2010's must be different. Now you've seen them all.

Not welded. Yes, U-nuts, or repair with

What are you talking about? These are not U-nuts. The plate thickness is too large for a U-nut. I even had to repair one of the nuts with a thread insert because someone stripped the nut.

Also, the splash guard plate does not say "H3" and it doesn't have the top tabs to mount to like the previous year's models.

The front differential support is the same for all h3's. My H3 oe front support has a slot in the frame(see pics posted above) to install/replace the U-Nut. If your missing that, cut it then slide in a U-nut, or install a nutsert. Btw, I change my own oil, and all my U-nuts are still original.

You got china steel? "someone stripped the nut"?
How did that happen? I'll stick with my oem differential support frame, and one day I may to replace the bushing, but still in great condition. I may need to pull out the gas wrench when the time comes.
