Misfire 1 cylinder
A bit of rust... I'd probably replace the sparky and c.o.p. just to be safe. I'd also put silicone spray on the c.o.p. or at least wd40. As for the leak what was gm thinking when they designed the the fake vent lol!
Yes, I had the same problem and found some small amount of liquid in the plug basin. It looked to me like water/coolant mixture, not oil, which would be more feasible since the oil spout entrance is right there next to cylinder one.
But my greatest peeve is that all the spark plugs I could find according to spec numbers were longer overall and prevented the ignition coil to sit and seal. WHY ???
I fixed the cylinder 1 misfire by simply switching spark plugs 1 and 2. I did that as a test of whether or not it was ignition coil or spark plug. It was neither, whioch means neither was it the fuel injector. Now it runs well, but I can't find Fng spark plugs.
Can somebody spark a light on this ???t
