Default massive stupid question.... radio swap.

ok, so i'm looking to swap out my radio with...... a toyota FJ one. i know i know..... why ???? i don't have a reason and it really won't make sense to anyone really. but i was wondering if it can be done ? i'm thinking i would need the factory wires that go from the back of the toyota radio and then an aftermarket radio kit that fits the hummer. do my connections and then bam ! swapped out.... only thing i need to worry about is the actual fit of the radio. has anyone done anything like this ? so i have an idea of things to be ready for... such as the actual size of the toyota radio etc.

scratch that question above.... would this work ?

it's a OEM radio from an 06 hummer H2 (oem 06 gmt800 tnr) <-- model i'm guessing. it's the full screen nav model with i'm hoping has the satellite as well. would this be a direct drop in or once again would i need to buy an aftermarket kit to get the connections to work ?

So........... you think it is a grand idea to use a 16 year old radio from a different vehicle for a current replacement? Lot of work for obsolete electronics that did not sound so hot when brand new.

I'd try Crutchfield or someone similar that has not only the latest and greatest, but everything you need to go with the install plus step by step instructions. Why waste your time on old tech, if I'm going to swap out, it's going to have Bluetooth, usb, aux plug maybe even nav.
sure, it'll cost you, but you'll be better off in the long run.
