Hummer H3For the Hummer driver who wants the rugged look and off road capabilities of the Hummer, but in a smaller size and with a more fuel economy friendly engine.
You would either have to replace the frame, or at minimum have a donor vehicle that you could cut intact sections of the frame out to replace sections of rotted frame if there are parts of it that are still structurally sound enough to attach to. In other words, it is JUNK. You would be buying something to part out.
I would not send anybody down the highway in my family in that.
$2500.00 worth buying depending on miles & condition above the frame? Does it start, drive, & shift? Part out could bring a nice return on investment $$$$$.
As far as repairing the frame, first pic doesn't look bad to me, 3/16" plated steel repair. 2nd picture appears the frame shifted? You would need to get under with a hammer and tap on all 4 sides of the frame to check condition. Check ride height on all 4 corners too. As long as there are 3 solid sides of the frame, take it to a body/frame shop for repair or diy:
Thanks I feel it’s doable. I added a couple pictures of the exterior it doesn’t look too bad. Seller says the engine is good 125000 miles. I will take a look at it this weekend. And part out is another option. He said it’s no driveable though

Guys, you have to actually have something to weld to. Welding a steel plate to a piece of paper has the strength of paper. Been welding for 45+ years, from the looks of your pic, I would not bother............ You need a solid chunk of frame to make your attachment welds to.
However, I cannot see the frame from front to back, maybe you could weld a plate to the front bumper and rear bumper and call it good.
That looks deadly. If the frame is rusted out that bad, there must be plenty of corrosion on everything underneath. That frame probably has holes all over it, you just don't see them yet. If it was free or pretty close to free, maybe it's worth parting out some body pieces or interior. I wouldn't spend the time and effort, you'll have way too much into it with nothing to show.

FREE??The hard shell spare cover could bring $4figures alone depending on condition.
