That video went MUCH smoother than my install. I don't know yet if it leaks. The damage you see to the light panel is what the glass shop did.

Those rigged panel screws were installed from a previous rigged install(painted matte black, clear to see removal & reinstall showing the nickel washer finish on parts). You get those at your hardware/home improvement.

Automotive body/panel screws are supplied by your auto parts/repair shops:

I'm with Hummerz. Those marker light panels had been seriously macgyver'd before you took the truck to the glass shop.

Regardless of the overhead lights, the rest of the install was complete crap as well, with the missing screws on the bottom and the greasy hand prints...using a hammer to remove the glass!!!???!!!

Were the "bottom" cowl panel retainer clips there before removal? Was the headliner dirty before windshield install?

Jeez, why the hate-on for me brother. I had a bad enough day at the Safelite shop without you adding to it. Now you're insinuating I'm a liar?
I'll find a friendlier Hummer board.
Goodbye.

Not hating on you! If, I ever had a bad result from service, I would complain to the company that provided the service! Just be truthful and show proof. Posting on a public forum will not help your issue! It's simple, contact the manager, go back, show your issues, and come to a conclusion that's acceptable to you. If you need more help on damage that you can prove, contact (888) 843-2798

Insurance company forced the replacement to that shop. After many decades in automotive repair, I've seen the diy butchers! Performed the needed repairs, and left the junk in the trunk.
On a side note, I started using Safelite back in the late '80's & I've NEVER had a customer complain with their quality of service, to this day!
