Anyone else with an Alpha that had the orange crest at the top of the Alpha emblem on the cargo door come off? I thought all along it was painted on, but it's actually an orange plastic insert that's glued in place. I lost mine and so did another guy I know so I'm thinking it's not just an isolated incident. Anyway, I've got a fix, short of replacing the entire emblem.

 

All of our Alphas eventually lost the little orange plastic piece on the rear badge. H3s and H3Ts.
The glue gets old and it falls off.

 

Never noticed. Guess I'll look tonight when I get home. Probably gone since it was from the sun beaten south.

Pry tell, what's the fix? Orange decal tape, paint, voodoo medicine?

 

So it's NOT an isolated instance! Guys, if you want to PM me I'll send you my address so you can send me a self addressed envelope and I'll send you a strip of the correct orange, reflective tape with dimensions for cutting out the correct size. Did mine and it looks like factory. In case you're not OCD like me and can live with it the way it is, no problem.

 

I kinda like the chrome and RED or Black. Painted our orange area RED on the red T and black on the black T after getting the glue out.
Goes with the OffRoad emblems I bought on eBay.
