Default at a loss with the ac

hey guys I have been having trouble with my AC on the06 H3 when its hot outside the ac doesn't blow cold and in the evening it is great, can someone please help me this is driving my insane. thank you

Likely needs a freon recharge. It's easier for the system to overcome mild temps than hot temps, so it "seems" to work in the evening.

I have already done this using the auto zone can, yes I know not the best thing. I have also read to change the ambient sensor and have found one of those and still nothing. I know the H2 has 2 of them so I dont know if that is the same for the H3, if it is I can not find it. the next thing I am going to change is the pressure sensor and see what that does, but have a feeling that it is not going to do anything as well. still at a loss and thank you for reply

thank you very much. I assume it’s number 12. Can you tell me is that on the driver side or passenger side by the grill??

I had the same problem,.. My a/c condenser was clogged with dirt, bugs. etc., after cleaning all the stuff off it, it cooled normally.
