I am looking to upgrade the radio system & add remote start to my 2008 H3 Alpha. I know nothing about systems, but we did try to add a radio kit to at least allow me to get blue tooth. That only caused problems so we removed it & she is running fine. From the research I have done, it seems like these additions are fairly difficult. Do I need to find someone who has done this kind of work on H3's. Is it too difficult for my local installer? I'd appreciate your advise.

 

Decorous installation right will last a lifetime, anything less could result in a problem

 

for the remote start ill recommend viper . Bestbuy sell it and installs the thing too .

 

Just be careful having "Bestbuy" install anything, they've been known to hire on the lower end of the pay spectrum and you definitely get what you pay for. I've heard multiple nightmares from Bestbuy installs...

 

I would NEVER allow any Best Buy kids to install anything anywhere. Just asking for a future full of headaches.

 

just used the name Bestbuy as a option but yes bestbuy installed by kids could be a potential fire in the future .
