A sucker is born every minute they say.... or like Ordeih said. If you KBB that exactly equipped truck, ain't worth anywhere near that.

Some people ask crazy numbers to see if it sticks, or if a sucker that was born is in the area.

Not sure, however I do know used cars are priced to sell, yet they are willing minimum negotiation.
I recently sold an early termination on my wife's buick encore to a chevy dealer(different dealer than I got her new ride from), 6 months left yet she wanted to go bigger. I asked a few questions on margin and cost to resell, the dealer has to pay gm $500 for certified preowned warranty, +the cost to thoroughly inspect, repair, & clean the vehicle. Bottom line, the margins on new vehicles are low, and don't pay the overhead, with all the incentives/rebates/allowances etc. The money is made selling used vehicles, (look at all the "we want your used car" ads/commercials) . My wife's encore lease buyout was $15.3k, dealer gave me $14.9k, I paid the balance and saved 4 payments, and it's listed for sale @ $17.9k, yet he told me they would accept $17.4k.
Above numbers should give you an idea, since it works the same on trade in. If the buyer wanted a certain price to trade in, the dealer has to make it happen, and in turn make sure they can turn a profit on the trade in.

Here's what shows on the vehicle in question: 2007 HUMMER H3 Vehicle History Report

Blame it on the H-EV. All the hype, then sticker shock. U can get a fleet of used Hummers for $112,595.
