pioneer dmh-1700nex Just purchased this unit for my 2008. Getting installed on wed.

 

Installed the pioneer today. I don’t love the fact that the screen is so low. Hard to see it. I would get one where the screen has a multiple angle setting.

 

!) How do you like it, any issues?
2) Did you get the Power Pack amp with it?
3) Are you able to use the stock mic with the hands free?

1) I installed it June 2020, after a Rockford Fosgate Punch P3SD2-8 Shallow 8" Dual 2-ohm Subwoofer in place of the Monsoon plus Poly-Fil. Then added Dynamat Extreme to the doors, rear gate, behind the new sub and upgraded the speakers to Rockford Fosgate P1650 6.5" 2-Way fronts, Rockford Fosgate P1675 6.75in. Car Speakers rear doors, with Rockford Fosgate R1T-S 1" 1-INCH PRIME SERIES TWEETERs in the A Pillars. Added an Amazon Back Up Camera in the bumper over the trailer hitch receiver. Together it all sounds great.
2) Nope, just the used the Micro ALPINE Bypass and Crux SOCGM-17C adapter with Monsoon Amp; and,
3) Never tried, it comes with its own Mic and a long cord to reach the rearview mirror area.
